New episode on Dr. Tsung-Ning Huang’s YouTube channel

Dr. Chia-Ling Chen and Dr. Zhao-Ting Tsai from Chang Gung Memorial Hospital analyzed KIT data from nearly 5,000 children and found that the frequency of consuming sweetened food is negatively correlated with language, cognitive, and motor development. How significant are these effects? And how can they be avoided? In EP6 of “KIT Viewpoints,” we invite Dr. Zhao-Ting Tsai, one of the authors of this research paper, to share with everyone about this study:

Tsai, Z. T., Chen, C. L., Chiou, H., Chang, C. J., Chen, C. Y., Wu, K. P. H., ... & Chen, P. H. (2023). Differential longitudinal effects of frequent sweetened food consumption at different exposure ages on child cognitive, language, and motor development. Biomedical Journal, 100608.
