New issue published: Newsletter No. 26

The latest issue of the KIT Newsletter has just been published and is available at https://kit.hdfs.ntnu.edu.tw/CN/Newsletter_content.aspx?es=62. In this edition, we feature a guide to 'Last Stop on Market Street', a storybook written by Matt de la Peña and illustrated by Christian Robinson. The story follows CJ and his grandmother on a bus ride through the city. As CJ questions why his family doesn't have more, his grandmother teaches him to appreciate the simple beauties of life. You can listen to the story by clicking on this link: https://youtu.be/pZUDKP0pm-s.

Moreover, this issue provides a brief overview of Growing Up in New Zealand, a longitudinal research project launched in 2008. Based in New Zealand, the study tracks the development of approximately 6,800 children born in the Auckland and Waikato regions. Its goal is to provide insights into the health, well-being, and development of children in the country, as well as the social, economic, and environmental factors that influence their lives. Other noteworthy items include a summary of several KIT findings related to children’s shame and a feature on Prof. Yi-Hsuan Wu from the Department of Child and Family Studies at NTNU.
