Data release: KIT-M36 (in Wave 5)

The KIT-M36 Wave 5 data (84 months) has been released in the Survey Research Data Archive (SRDA) of Academia Sinica for researchers' use. We sincerely appreciate the invaluable support and contributions from the research team, as well as the dedication of our study participants, both parents and children. We are confident that this data will play a vital role in shaping social policies in Taiwan, particularly in the areas of child health and welfare.

Please note that as of Wave 5, the study participants have entered elementary school. Consequently, the survey schedule has been adjusted to take place in the second semester of each academic year, with data collection spanning two academic years. Additionally, new participants have been added to the study. For more details, please refer to the User Guide.

Since the parent questionnaire has been updated from the preschool version (for children aged 36–72 months) to the elementary school version (for children in Grades 1–3), the study now provides an IRT data file containing developmental estimates for children at 36, 48, 60, 72, and 84 months across different domains to link the two versions of the questionnaire. If you need the IRT data for the first four waves of KIT-M36, please re-download the previously released datasets (KIT-M36 at 36, 48, 60, and 72 months). (Note: These four datasets have been re-released in a revised version due to the addition of the IRT file.)
